Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to provide efficient support for field sales activities, acting as a key liaison between production and sales representatives or customers. This includes managing the entire order process from placement through to invoicing. The position also involves regular reporting to the Product Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Process incoming orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Verify pricing and credit conditions for validity.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the customer portfolio efficiently.
  • Actively seek additional sales opportunities with existing or potential customers.
  • Support field sales representatives in developing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Enhance and uphold the company's image by delivering excellent customer service.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of customers through regular contact.
  • Align with field sales representatives on the company’s strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities at customer accounts.
  • Provide backup support for colleagues as needed.
  • Serve as a negotiator and intermediary between suppliers and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with approx. 5 years of experience
  • Good Dutch, French & English knowledge, German is a plus
  • Good knowledge MS Office
