Purpose of the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer – Modern Workplaces to manage and maintain Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot, Policies, and Deployments across our global IT infrastructure. With over 10,000 workplaces managed by Intune & Windows 11, this role is critical in ensuring a seamless and efficient IT environment.

As a 2nd or 3rd Level IT Systems Engineer, you will assist our IT Service Desk team when they are unable to resolve complex issues. You will also play a key role in projects involving onboarding new companies, workplace alignment, and cleanup of legacy systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a 2nd or 3rd Level IT Support Engineer in a global enterprise environment.
  • Strong expertise in Modern Workplace technologies, including:
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint (Involv), PowerApps, Quest ODM migration & Sharegate is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Teams VoIP and Low-Level Design of SharePoint & Intranet is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global IT environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Ability to travel within Europe (15%) as needed.
  • Hybrid model with one required office day per week in Barcelona

Principal responsibilities/tasks

  • Provide second and third-line IT support, assisting the Service Desk with escalated issues.
  • Manage and optimize Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot, Policies, and Deployments to ensure a stable and secure workplace environment.
  • Participate in IT projects related to onboarding new companies, standardizing workplaces, and removing legacy systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in workplace infrastructure.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and compliance of workplace systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for IT configurations and procedures.
  • Train and guide 1st-line support engineers to improve overall service efficiency.
