Procurement Manager – Recycled Polystyrene (Europe)
We are seeking a senior, high-impact Procurement Manager to drive Ravago Building Solutions’ strategic direction in sourcing and integrating recycled polystyrene (PS) into our European operations. This is not a traditional procurement role. You will act as entrepreneur, strategist, and dealmaker—analyzing the feedstock landscape, building critical partnerships, and shaping the roadmap for long-term supply and investment in recycling infrastructure.
Your work will directly influence RBS’s sourcing strategy, operational priorities, and future CAPEX decisions regarding recycled material. You will have direct exposure to senior leadership, significant freedom to act, and the mandate to drive change.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and implement the strategic roadmap for sourcing recycled polystyrene across Europe.
• Lead the development of new supplier partnerships, building a stable and scalable feedstock network.
• Shape business cases and investment proposals for recycling infrastructure together with the technical and operations team.
• Advise senior management on market dynamics, cost implications, and sourcing opportunities/risks.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis on feedstock availability, quality, and logistics implications.
• Initiate and negotiate strategic agreements with suppliers and collaborators across the European recycling value chain.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams: manufacturing, technology, logistics, and finance.
What You Bring
• Proven track record in senior procurement, business development, or strategic sourcing, ideally in recycled materials or polymers.
• Strong market insight into recycling, plastics, or related circular economy sectors.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to move quickly from insight to action—you thrive in fast-paced environments where transformation is the goal.
• Experience collaborating with technical and engineering stakeholders to translate strategy into operational reality.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
