Accounting Analyst
Purpose of the role
As an Accounting Analyst at Ravago, you will join our GL Accounting team and play a pivotal role in analyzing complex financial data, leveraging large datasets to deliver actionable insights. In addition, you will manage the full accounting cycle (A to Z) of our international SCF company (Supply Chain Finance) in close cooperation with subject matter experts. You will handle foreign currency transactions and act as a strong business partner to our Treasury and Credit Manager, making a significant impact on our growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly reports and ensure compliance with (inter)national regulations, internal procedures and support audits.
- Data Analysis in Excel: Use advanced Excel functionalities to analyze large datasets, deliver actionable insights, and optimize existing files to improve efficiency.
- Foreign Currency Accounting: Perform FX analyses and ensure accurate accounting to support treasury in mitigating currency risks.
- Business Partnering: As a member of our GL Accounting team, you will collaborate with Treasury and the Credit Manager by presenting insights and connecting the dots to drive process improvements.
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Independently manage the financial administration of the SCF entity, working closely with our AR/AP team and serving as the single point of contact for international colleagues.
- Factoring Management: Optimize Supply Chain Finance (SCF) processes in collaboration with Global Process Owners Accounting.
Your profile
- At least 5+ years of experience as an accountant or data analyst, with proven ability to perform complex analyses, work with large datasets, and connect insights across different data sources
- You combine strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency with a solid understanding of accounting principles, enabling you to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights
- You are confident in your role and able to set clear priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proven experience in foreign currency accounting, ERP software, … are a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset
