European Product Manager – Engineering Plastics

We are seeking a European Product Manager – Engineering Plastics to lead the commercial and supply strategy for a portfolio of engineering plastics across Europe. Acting as the key link between suppliers and our commercial teams, you will drive product growth, supplier partnerships, pricing strategy, and market development while ensuring alignment across countries.

This opportunity arises from a one-year maternity leave replacement. However, we view this as a long-term investment in the right candidate. Following the initial assignment, there is a strong possibility to continue in a Product Manager role, potentially with a different product portfolio.

Whether you are an experienced Product Manager looking for your next challenge or an ambitious internal candidate ready to take the next step in your career, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence business strategy, work with leading suppliers, and contribute to the future growth of Resinex.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and drive the commercial and supply strategy for assigned product lines across Europe.
  • Act as the primary interface between suppliers and Resinex commercial teams.
  • Define pricing, positioning, and growth strategies to optimise profitability and market share.
  • Support business planning, forecasting, and budget preparation across regions.
  • Monitor product performance, market trends, and competitive developments.
  • Identify and develop new supplier partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Provide direction and support to Product Specialists and Product Coordinators.
  • Drive cross-country collaboration and alignment on strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in Product Management, Sales, Business Development, Supply Chain, or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across different countries, cultures, and functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building business and creating growth.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Our offer

  • A unique opportunity to shape the future of a strategic product portfolio.
  • Exposure to international suppliers, markets, and commercial teams across Europe.
  • A dynamic and entrepreneurial working environment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and long-term career development.
  • Competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
  • A collaborative culture with room for initiative and impact.
